The role you’ll contribute:

The RN Data Abstractor reports to the Division Data Abstraction Supervisor and is responsible for the abstraction of clinical data from a patients' medical record and input into an electronic database for summary analysis and public reporting. Attention to detail, accuracy in abstracting clinical information, and proficiency in the required data abstraction tools will be necessary for success in this role.

The RN Data Abstractor tracks and validates data accuracy and timeliness in accordance with AdventHealth West Florida Division policies and procedures and performs quality assurance tasks such as record validation as assigned. They communicate medical record status and key project issues to leadership as needed and are familiar with medical terminology and basic medical record design and requirements. This individual utilizes basic computer skills, to include the navigation of several electronic databases such as; Cerner, Outlook and Excel, Lumedx Apollo Advance and LX, Analytics Manager, IQVIA, etc.).
