Job Description
A Magnet designated acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced RN Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to join their accredited healthcare team.

Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, the RN Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing clinical documentation practices to ensure accurate and comprehensive medical records. Primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical documentation, conducting concurrent and retrospective reviews, providing education to healthcare providers, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve coding accuracy and quality of documentation.
What Makes You Awesome
  • Prior experience working in clinical documentation improvement
  • CCDS certification is a plus but not required
  • Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont or ability to obtain
