- Cultivates, strong and sustainable professional relationships with staff members
- Provides direction and serves as school’s primary leader for professional development
- Leads campus initiatives for increasing college readiness, differentiated instruction, cross-curricular learning, and implementation of 21st century skills
- Responsible for the induction of new teachers, including orientation and providing additional support
- Coordinate collaborative planning between the different disciplines and vertical teams
- Support staff members on the implementation of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
- Partners with parents, community groups, and businesses to incorporate life and career skills into instruction and campus activities
- Model and Co-Teach highly effective, rigorous lessons to Pk-5 students
- Provide individualized and small group instruction that incorporates critical thinking and varied problem solving strategies
- Assist all teachers in integrating 21st Century Skills within their curriculum and student clubs
- Works with the school administration to ensure that instructional resources and technology promote college readiness; provides teachers with training on implementation
- Meets regularly with all grade level teams to design concept based inquiry units of instruction and differentiated lessons that address multiple student performance levels and promote critical thinking
- Responsible for assisting teachers in developing individual student learner profiles and personalized learning plans
- Collaborates with principal and stakeholders to ensure a sustainable longitudinal plan

- Superior communication skills, bilingual preferred but not required

- Technological proficiency required; ability to learn new software, web resources, etc. and train staff
- Work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Experience with curriculum development and professional development preferred
- Knowledge of best instructional practices, current research based strategies, and effective classroom systems and procedures
- Knowledge/experience with project based learning and personalized learning
- Demonstrated success as a teacher, professional development facilitator, and instructional coach preferred
- Experience with data disaggregation and instructional interventions/strategies
