Retail Merchandiser | $20/Hr + Benefits

Overview: The retail merchandising position is a critical member of our team. The specialist is responsible for selling and supporting all aspects of the authorized Polar Beverages’ portfolio, including private label and wholesale business, to drive toward common monthly plan sales goals. The specialist executes the following job expectations while reporting to the Account Manager

• Guiding, training, and assisting store management in the sales and merchandising of Polar, private label and wholesale business (Placing orders on behalf of the stores with customer service when an order is not placed by store management)
• Rotating and merchandising DSD, Private Label & Wholesale products
• Selling Polar’s entire portfolio
• Assisting and/or leading resets

Polar Beverages is looking for a motivated, results-oriented sales professional to support operations and sales goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Other duties as defined by Market Basket grocery supervision as well as the Account Manager (and at times other category specialists)
• Beverage aisle resets and merchandising.
• Maximize sales through constant communication with Market Basket store management and grocery supervision.
• Plan daily & weekly schedules to maximize sales goals with consideration toward overall account performance.
• Provide regular updates to Account Manager through the Sales Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

• Must like to drive. Clean driver’s record, active driver license, and active car insurance
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
