Job Description
Summary: In cooperation with the Marketing Manager, responsible for supporting the Retail department(s), working closely with Operations to optimize the product communication strategy. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Licenses/Certifications: None. Experience: Three years of related experience, in a financial institution preferred. Proven experience in the promotion of products/services. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Functions: A: Job Specific: Develops client-facing communications (emails, push notifications, etc.), working closely with partners across the Sutton Bank landscape. Assists with writing/producing documentation for internal communication and project tracking. Perform new account and account closing surveys. Accumulate data and report findings to management. Propose recommendations to increase customer acquisition and retention. Administer the Sutton Bank Scholarship annually, working with the High School Guidance offices, and coordinating the disbursement of payments to the appropriate Bursar's Offices. Manage the customer/prospect data base. Create marketing programs via software that customer facing associates use to cross sale additional products to current customers. Run reports to validate account/product acquisition and identify key personnel. Periodically review disclosures and branch postings for compliance with regulatory mandates. Review donation requests and determine the manner in which funds should be utilized to promote community relations and good will. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of the business area that is being supported. Self-directed and motivated. The ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
