Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory system information as well as the physical goods within Six Flags New England. Ensures products are moving out onto the sales floor, price tags are accurate, and all SKU’s are valid. Accountable for enforcing all park policies and procedures while maintaining guest satisfaction and profitability of the company.


You’ll Contribute To Our Mission By


  • Managing ticketing of all items and price changes
  • Performing data entry for purchase orders, internal transfers, and inventory adjustments
  • Maintaining a list of system users, and assisting in training all users on policies and procedures
  • Assisting in executing annual physical inventories and reconciliation
  • Running specified reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies and procedures
  • Overseeing department daily ordering system to get merchandise from warehouse to Retail locations
  • Handling physical movement of products between locations within the park
  • Overseeing the flow of merchandise within the park to ensure accurate inventory counts and procedures
  • Assisting in other areas of the department
  • Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England


You’ll Do It With Your


  • Strong communication skills; both written and oral
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ten key ability
  • Ability to maintain daily orders, transfers, receivers, and store inventory in park system
  • Proficiency with computers; specifically experience with Excel preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language

SUBSTANTIATING DATA


Experience


Park experience and detailed knowledge of park functions is helpful. Previous computer, inventory management or accounting experience is required. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office are preferred. Sales management experience important. Previous guest related experience preferred.


COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES


Must possess above average communication and interpersonal skills. Must react will in stressful and emergency situations. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Good analytical problem solving skills. Must be able to work within warehouse setting including use of ladders and tall shelving. Must perform cashier functions and be able to handle cash and make change. Must be able to direct others effectively. Must possess a valid driver’s license.


SUPERVISION RECEIVED


Under general supervision from the Retail Supervisors and Retail Manager.


ERRORS/SAFETY


Errors in performance, mismanaged paperwork, or failure to adhere and enforce operations polices as stated in any Standard Operating Procedures manual may result in injuries to yourself and others. Risk may increase when working with ladders or moving merchandise. Responsible for maintaining a safe work and guest environment.


Contact With Others


Direct and continuous contact with team members, guests, leads, and supervisors throughout the entire park. Frequent contact with service representatives and manufacturing representatives as well as corporate staff.


CONFIDENTIAL DATA


Access to confidential information such as reports, pricing information, phone listings, etc. High exposure to confidential data.


MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND


Requires normal visual and mental demand.


PHYSICAL DEMAND


Requires long hours standing, or continuous sitting, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition. Requires good vision with near and far acuity. Requires climbing, pushing, pulling, bi-manual dexterity, and stepping up/down. Requires using telephones, radios, and computer equipment. Requires the ability to move and work in different work stations, hand and arm movement.

  • Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs consistently; occasionally be able to lift 30 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time, up to 14 hours in a day

WORKING CONDITIONS


Continuously works both inside and outside, and works closely with others. Primarily works alone, is exposed to dust/dirt, water, excessive heat, humidity and dampness. Must be able to function in all weather conditions. Is exposed to detergents/cleaners. Occasionally works on ladders and high places and around shelving units.
