Retail Cashier Jobs

The Retail Cashier is responsible for all cash transactions within Mountain Memories Gift Shop.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Verify daily bankroll at time of issue.
2. Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance
with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Perform all Cashier duties as needed.
4. Ensure cleanliness and order of the Gift Shop
5. Restock Gift Shop and request necessary items from Retail Clerks.
6. Sign and maintain all receipts for paper and bank accurately and efficiently.
7. Reconcile and balance all cash and daily receipts at the end of shift.
8. Inform on-coming shift personnel of unique situations concerning guests.
9. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
10. Performs all other departmental duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. Previous cash handling experience required.
3. Casino/Gaming Cashier experience, preferred
4. Spanish speaking preferred.
5. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills a must.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong math skills a must.
8. Familiarity with computers required.
9. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming
Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. While performing the duties of this job the team member is required to talk and hear.
2. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel
objects, tools or controls.
3. Occasionally required to and to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically in fast paced stressful environment..
5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
6. Must be able to stand for entire shift.
7. Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
8. Exposed daily to flashing lights, ringing bells and smoke associated with a casino type of
atmosphere.
9. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable
