Job Description

Job status: Seasonal
Hours: 25-40 hours per week
Location: Short Pump, VA 23233

Strange’s has position openings for seasonal cashiers for the spring season! The Cashier is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service while processing sales efficiently through point of sale systems.

Seasonal assignments typically end 0n or around June 14th – potential opportunity to join the team PT or FT July 2023!

Scheduling: Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 1 weekend day and 2 weekdays between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicates customer requests to appropriate management
  • Issues receipts and change due to customers
  • Maintains cleanliness of POS area
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by management
  • Maintains awareness of all promotions and advertisements
  • Opens and closes POS area
  • Greets and assists customers
  • Completes tasks given be senior management
  • Stocks shelves, retrieves carts and labels products
