Our growing retail business is seeking a Retail Area Manager who can create productive working atmospheres in our stores and hire store managers who are committed to the company’s success. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the overall vision for each store in their district, establishing benchmarks for store management teams and implementing policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their goals. We are in retail clothing and footwear so looking for someone that has a background in our industry.
Position Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar area management position
•Strong interpersonal and public relation skills
•Experience with a retail sales environment, merchandising programs and procedures
•Excellent customer service skills
•Good organizational and problem-solving skills
•Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
•Ability to lift 45 lbs and climb ladders
•Experience in western boots, western wear, dance or family shoes preferred
Job Responsibilities:
•Hire, Train and Develop your management team
•Assesses if the stores have met company standards and expectations
•Regularly meet with store management to improve the overall success of their store
•Conduct a monthly meeting with all store managers
•Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and executed
•Should recommend new modifications to company policies if those policies fail to work in the district
•Constantly communicating with company officers and implementing the strategic plans of the company through Lebos stores
•Establish and exceed all financial sales goals and plans for each store
•Establish, model and reinforce Lebos outstanding customer service and hand-fitting reputations
•Embrace diversity and foster a positive work and shopping environment to promote sales and the continued success of Lebos
•Manage expenses within a given budget
•Manage each store payroll within a give budget
•Effectively communicate and execute the vision of the company, its value and expectations
•Establish and execute the operational, promotional and visual merchandising standards of the company and its buyers.
•Establish and execute all training programs for operational procedures, required duties and product knowledge
•Establish and execute all safety and loss prevention guidelines and policies
