Job Description

Your expertise in demolition, restoration, and construction will be key to maintaining our commitment to quality workmanship, meeting deadlines, and fostering a collaborative team environment.


Job Responsibilities


  • Assists Project Managers when needed with notes, photos, and documents according to company policies and procedures.
  • Resolves issues with customers, and communicates customer issues, daily job activities with key company staff.
  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
  • Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
  • Knowledge of the disaster restoration industry and/or construction industry is required.
  • Coordinate and perform assessments of site conditions to aid in the delivery of job estimates/site plans.
  • Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
  • Travel is required.
  • Conduct basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold to include, but not limited to the following: wipe down, pack inventory control, wrap goods, load, and unload vehicle.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources to provide service on active projects including subcontractors.
  • Monitors and inspects tasks for water restoration jobs to ensure completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.


Required Qualifications


  • Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in field supervisory role.
  • Strong reasoning and comprehension skills.
  • Proven skills in the areas of math as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • IICRC Certifications: ASD - Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT - Fire and smoke Restoration Technician, OCT - Odor Control Technician, and WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Disaster Recovery, Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.

The Restoration Superintendent/Field Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling an assigned project(s), including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination, and works closely with all members of the project team, all in an effort to minimize risk. This is a seasonal position responding to hurricanes and offers hourly compensation.

Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)


Compensation: Hourly rate with eligibility for overtime
