Job Description


The Research Technician plays a role in developing new products for LGC Maine Standards. Under the close direction of his/her supervisor, he/she will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties under LGC Maine Standards’ design plan (governed by 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485).


What you’ll do


Prepare chemical solutions (reagents, buffers, etc.) according to standard procedures.


Receive, verify, and assign log numbers to ordered materials.


Assist Research Chemists and Scientists as directed.


Participate in the development of products by preparing equipment, filling, and labelling.


Perform routine laboratory tests, stress test study support and recording results.


Data entry into spreadsheets.


Operate and maintain laboratory equipment using operating instructions.


Assist in placing orders and maintaining inventory.
