Research Technician - Behavioral Neuroscience

The Coutellier’ lab, in the Psychology Department, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Research Technician to join our behavioral neuroscience team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. The Coutellier lab studies the neural mechanisms underlying brain development in health and disease in mouse models. The lab has a special interest in deciphering the neural circuits involved in neuropsychiatric disorders like anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia. The Research Technician assists in the general coordination and conduct of research in the lab. This also includes maintaining lab equipment and safety, and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

At least one year of relevant experience working with laboratory rodents, for either in vivo (behavior) or in vitro (molecular analysis) work.

The pay range for this job profile is $13.89 - $18.51. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
