Job Description
The Research Coordinator position at Partners for Advancing Health Equity provides advanced level support to the project. This position supports the creation of research and learning opportunities, conducts evaluative research, and supports evidence syntheses (literature reviews) projects. The Research Coordinator serves as a liaison among different levels of staff and project collaborators, and research assistants. This position takes the lead in the development of ideas and plans for various webinars, workshops, evidence syntheses. This position monitors the evaluation materials used to assess the process of implementing P4HE and its impact. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in developing educational and learning engagements, workshops, and processes
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating and conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments of learning
  • Ability to identify and assess appropriate and critical literature on health equity topics
  • Experience in conducting literature reviews and critically interrogating and assessing research literature for rigor and quality
  • Capacity to communicate clearly in communication, particularly in written communications, such as reports, research articles, and protocols
  • Commitment to health equity and inclusive practices
Required Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or another health-related degree
  • 2 years of applied public health work experience

Preferred Qualifications • Master’s Degree (MPH, MS, MHA) with 3 years of applied public health work experience
  • Independent thinker and able to anticipate future needs of project
  • Experience working with collaboratives, networks, organizations, partnerships
  • Experience with developing and disseminating easy to read and use content (e.g., infographics, memos, and briefs)
  • Comfort with project management tools (e.g., Notion, customer relations systems)
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methods
