As a Research Associate I at Baxter, your work contributes directly to making a significant impact on others. We collaborate cross-functionally and lead by influence. When you join Baxter as a Research Associate I, you'll use your analytical approach to identify risks and opportunities for innovation quickly. Agile and willing to take action, you stay calm under pressure!

What you'll be doing:

• Assess feasibility of simple research and design concepts within area of expertise.
• Contribute routine scientific knowledge or expertise to research and development activities for achievement of project goals and solve routine experimental design or research problems with some assistance. ("Routine knowledge" implies a "solid understanding of technical field or administrative functions.")
• Employ appropriate techniques and methods to successfully conduct specific assignments within negotiated deadlines after receiving general instruction.
• Understand and apply applicable corporate and divisional SOPs. Maintain knowledge of relevant QSR and safety requirements.
• Under direction, conduct routine chemistry-based research and/or developmental activities. Plan details of assigned tasks within specific parameters. Organize data and prepare relevant QSR documentation for assigned projects. Write and issue reports with minimal guidance.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of GxP and related regulations and guidance.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of basic technical theories and principles within area of expertise for routine tasks.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
