As a Research Associate in the Analytical Services team, you will work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors, exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Design and safely conduct laboratory scale experiments using current best practices.
- Present and discuss experimental plans and results with both internal and external customers.
- Documentation of development work using Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) according to established SOPs and industry standards.
- Development activities utilizing UHPLC, low resolution HPLC-MS, high resolution HPLC-MS, GC, GC-MS, UV, Karl-Fischer, NMR, FTIR, and various wet chemistry tests.
- Evaluate historical data applying applicable statistical tools to develop appropriate Raw Material, in-process, API, and Drug Product specifications.
- Analytical method development for Raw Materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) in-process, final product, and Drug Product.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience is desired in analytical method development or analytical method validation with emphasis in HPLC.
- Minimum BS/BA in Chemistry or equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of the development team.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
- Proficiency in the operation of HPLC and general laboratory instrumentation is expected.
- We are seeking a keen problem solver with a proactive approach.
- Experience in working in a GMP regulated environment is also required.
- Experience with Oligonucleotide and nucleic acid chemistry is highly desired.
- Typically, 4+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
Pay Range
$72,160.00-$112,750.00The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location.
