Job Description
Job Summary


Reporting to the Strategic Research & Analytics Director, the Research & Analytics Specialist supports the research and analytics team including database assistance; new donor identification research; and routine analytics work.


The position works closely with the Strategic Research & Analytics Director and Program Manager in helping the frontline fundraisers and their supporting teammates in database management metrics, and utilization of research software programs. This role will provide important data and research information to fundraisers and other development team members to help identify prospects.


Minimum Qualifications


Education: Bachelor�s degree required.


Experience: One to three years of database and CRM experience; development, prospect research or related experience, preferably in healthcare or complex non-profit environment.


Preferred: At least one year experienced on Raiser�s Edge software preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, verification, and analysis.

Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Raiser�s Edge software systems. Focus on independent strategic thinking and attention to detail. Have a professional attitude in appearance and demeanor. Protect the confidential nature of donor information.Compliance as related to HIPAA and PHI.Knowledge of standard biographical and business-related reference manuals, use of Internet research engines, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with limited supervision.


Other: Exhibits enthusiasm and enjoyment for raising funds in a health care donor-centered environment. Has the ability to work in a team environment in which mediocrity is not tolerated.
