Who Are We Looking For
We’re looking for a Business Operations Reporting and Analytics Specialist in Corporate Functions & Converse Technology (CF&C)! As our CF&C Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist you will join the CF&C Business Operations and Enablement team (BOE) focusing on the planning and tracking of operations to ensure an agile, transparent, and optimally functioning department.
You will be coordinating with the leadership and management teams within CF&C at Nike to support business operations. Your data analysis and data visualization skills will be critical for simplifying complex financial information into clear, concise dashboards, helping leadership and finance manage to budget while delivering on our priorities. Additionally, you will use your people skills to understand the needs of various business partners to improve the financial reporting processes with CF&C. Your skill as a proactive and clear communicator will be leveraged during the creation of internal communications including process documentation and reminders.
What Will You Work On
If this is you, you’ll be performing these key tasks:
  • Continually assess existing processes, reports and dashboards and seek to implement improvements and efficiencies
  • Calculate cost savings driven through various financial and labor mechanisms
  • Gather relevant or missing data and prepare it for analysis based on the business objective
  • Recommend and implement appropriate data analysis methods and tools based on existing data and business objectives
  • Partner with Finance manager to input data into financial reports for monthly financial reviews with senior leaders
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly data updates required for financial planning and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with key partners to improve financial reporting within organization
  • Build and leverage relationships across key collaborators and other Business Operations and Enablement teams
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards with key financial metrics to enable senior leaders to make data driven budget decisions
  • Leverage financial and workforce planning data as an input into Corporate Strategic Review (CSR) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Assist in the development of standard format for monthly financial reviews with senior leaders
  • Generate insights and recommendations for upcoming fiscal years based on historical financial data
Who Will You Work With
You will report to the Manager of Business Planning and Operations. You will work with your BOE teammates, CF&C leadership, and technology teams.
What You Bring
  • Able to accomplish results by establishing strong partnerships and relationships
  • Works well in high matrixed and collaborative environments
  • 1+ years of experience analyzing and visualizing financial data
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational problems
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and data visualization
  • Strong process management and problem resolution skills, with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Strong desire to operate as a self-starter and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, yet fast-paced, environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience within a business environment in an operations or administration role supporting company leadership
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear reports or communications
Preferred Additional Qualifications
  • Tableau experience
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet
  • Demonstrated success in actively supporting and evolving business operations processes that bring value through consistent, reliable, and flexible delivery
