Reporting to the head of marketing for Mitchell’s Auto Physical Damage (APD) division, the Marketing Intern will support organizational initiatives, internal and industry events, lead generation activities and department operations. As an important member of the APD Marketing team, the Intern will have an opportunity to own projects, interact with different organizations and be mentored by marketing professionals and other colleagues.


Example of Previous Projects (your project(s) will be similar to those described below)


  • Build and test marketing and operational emails in Pardot and Salesforce.
  • Help coordinate regional trade shows and national conferences.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Product Management and Sales to create professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist APD Marketing with product launch and promotional activities.
  • Manage a repository of Mitchell-owned imagery and purchased stock photography.
  • Research opportunities to optimize thought leadership content on social media platforms, including Twitter and LinkedIn.


Qualifications


  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), CRM and marketing automation tools (Pardot and Salesforce), and survey software (SurveyMonkey). Preferred, although not required: experience using a content management platform like Acquia.
  • Ability to use analytical, logical, and organizational skills to make business decisions using ambiguous and potentially complex information
  • Key attributes: solid blend of critical and creative thinking; outstanding communication and writing skills; detail oriented with an eye for design; team player; willing to go the extra mile in completing projects; not afraid to ask questions; at ease working virtually and with cross-functional teams

Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $25.00 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
