Full Time Virtual/Telehealth Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW or LPC) - Remote within ChristianaCare Market (DE/MD)

The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide adult and adolescent patients with an empathetic assessment and treatment of their behavioral health needs via our online telehealth platform.

• Care will utilize high quality evidence based behavioral health modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and/or psychoanalysis.
• Behavioral Therapists will establish trusted relationships with patients and help coordinate care with their primary care provider, other behavioral health professionals and/or community resources as needed.

Additional Details

• Document patient medical and behavioral health histories, medications, and allergies
• Establish trusted professional relationships virtually with patients for acute and longitudinal behavioral health needs
• Timely documentation of visits in the electronic health record

• Educate and counsel patients virtually
• Assess/evaluate and provide evidence based psychotherapy modalities as indicated by presentation
• Collaboration of care with primary care providers or other behavioral health professionals as needed
• Use strong communication, attentive listening, and customer service skills

Hours

Weekdays: 12-8

Weekends: 9-5 (4 days total a month)

Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology required

Work Experience

• Experience seeing youth through adult patients.
• Minimum 3 years post-training experience required

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred
• Active state medical licensure required in either of the following:
• Licensed Professional Counselor
