The pay range for this position in Colorado is $39.00 -$57.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay other considerations include a variable incentive plan, and a range of medical, financial, tuition reimbursement, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Position Summary


The Reliability Program Manager position is responsible for the maintenance of the Reliability Excellence model, driving the improvement of facility reliability, and will champion the maintenance improvement plans. This position is responsible for the management of Root Cause Analysis (RCA). The Reliability Manager will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company’s physical assets and Maintenance and Reliability processes and strategies. The candidate will be directly involved in the continued implementation of a progressive and integrated Reliability Centered Maintenance and Equipment Reliability Improvement process across multiple sites.


Essential Functions


  • Plan, develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure the operating quality, environmental compliance, and safety of assigned sites.
  • Support the overall company safety culture, set the example, hold team members accountable for safety behaviors and policies, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular relationship meetings with contract customers to ensure proper services are being provided and to determine prospects for future sales.
  • Perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.
  • Compliance with ELS Safety program policies and procedures.
  • Recommend recognition and/or disciplinary action of personnel as necessary.
  • Generate and recommend purchasing approval in support of assigned sites.
  • Establish site and Site Manager goals and conduct performance appraisals/reviews.
  • Identify, monitor and evaluate Warranty Support opportunities at assigned sites.
  • Coordinate development of Site’s annual operating plan and budget.
  • 50% – 75% Travel Required
  • Maintain client relationships and own overall end-to-end customer service experience.
  • Contribute to potential sales opportunities to include reading and understanding RFPs, writing RFP responses, assessing headcount needs, and determining capital and contractual requirements to follow through with a new contract.
  • Foster a team environment at both the site and regional levels in support of overall company objectives.
  • Routinely review P&Ls for designated regional sites.
  • Engage with the Business Development process, including contract review.
  • Oversees the business, financial and technical activities of Operations and Maintenance sites.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the employer’s insurance policy.
  • Engage in compensation reviews and follow-up of annual employee increases per contract.


Basic Qualifications


  • Identify and deploy best practices in Reliability and Storeroom Management across the network.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Reliability Engineering, Facilities Management or property management preferred
  • Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting
  • Prefer experience managing teams in an industrial environment containing conveyance, process control and powered trucks.
  • Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Minimum eight years’ experience as a Reliability Engineer or equivalent including managing teams, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations
  • Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability
  • Relevant training in MHE, Controls Systems, PIT as well as general building operations
  • Must have strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and Office
  • Must have solid knowledge of building/ mechanical, electrical systems (MEP)
  • Strong organizational skills
