Job Description

Job Summary

This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth. This position supports FoodChain ID’s Regulatory Compliance products, Regulatory Library and Regulatory Assessment by monitoring the client support ticket system (Zendesk) for issues raised by client users. Issues are assessed to determine necessary actions to resolve and assigned appropriately. Quality checks are also performed on regulatory data and corrected as required.

Responsibilities

Client Support Ticketing System (Zendesk)

  • Assist with resolution of data issues as needed using Craqen.
  • Create quality tickets in internal issue ticketing system (JIRA) to detail regulatory data issues to be resolved in the data capture system (Craqen).
  • Provide detailed ticket responses to the clients as needed.
  • Determine root cause of issues presented by clients.
  • Follow-up with support ticket assignee to ensure closure on tickets.
  • Assign client support tickets to appropriate internal staff to process tickets or provide responses.

Regulatory Quality Analysis & Correction

  • Research and correct regulatory data inconsistencies to ensure regulatory accuracy for client applications.
  • Review regulations as assigned to confirm data values associated with country regulations are correct.
  • Use project management systems (including JIRA, Zendesk, and Craqen) to track assignments, resolve client issues and improve regulatory data quality.
  • Compare regulatory data from previous and current reports to anticipate questions from clients regarding the validity of data.
  • Capture new regulatory data as needed to resolve JIRA quality tickets for Regulatory Assessment modules Food Additives, Standards of Identity (SOI) and others as assigned.
  • Review regulatory data in both Craqen and the Regulatory Compliance tools to determine if it was accurately captured.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of their work and possess the necessary patience and diligence.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • 0 – 2 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required (political science or international relations preferred)
  • Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented focus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Education or backgrounds that are most suitable are in international relations, political science, food safety or some sciences.
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Curious with a passion for learning and developing expertise.
