Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, team-oriented, Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team.

**The schedule for this position is Mondays 8a-6p**

Pay: $23.00 - $47.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system.

** Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience**

The successful candidate will possess a professional work ethic, a positive compassionate attitude, and excellent communication skills. In addition to superior patient care, our assistants should also enjoy providing client education as this is integral to our practice.

Skylos Sports Medicine is an orthopedic and rehabilitation specialty practice that provides a unique concierge level of care for patients and their guardians in Ellicott City and Frederick, Maryland.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assisting in surgery (including arthroscopy)
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Administration of medications and treatments
• Client education and communication
• Obtaining high quality digital orthopedic radiographs
• Assisting with patient evaluation and examination

Job Requirements:

• Reliable job attendance
• Team oriented yet self-motivated to problem solve and think ahead
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Motivated by educating peers and clients
• Minimum of 1 year veterinary experience
• Veterinary Technician License is preferred but not required
• Driven by providing excellent customer service and the best patient care possible
