Job Summary:
Performs vascular exams using ultrasound and image with latitude utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Performs vascular exams of designated anatomy to physician specifications and established protocols. Performs high quality non-invasive diagnostic vascular testing. Operates all the equipment pertinent to the procedures.

Education - Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED



Education - Preferred:
  • Specialized Diploma Graduate of approved CAHEA or CAAHEP school of vascular sonography or certification program. In good standing with accrediting body (ARDMS, ARRT).



Experience - Required:


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to multitask and work under stress.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with physicians, patients, and hospital staff.
  • Demonstrates eye-hand coordination, mechanical, and analytical aptitude.
  • Must be able to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians, and nursing personnel.



Certifications - Required:
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Upon Hire or
  • Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 Days
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (VS) Vascular Sonography Upon Hire and
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Upon Hire or

Location: Lehigh Valley Health Network · Vascular Lab
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours, Day Shift, Sat-Sun 7:00a-7:30p, Mon-Tues 8:30-5:00pm
