NaphCare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) just like you at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Yuma facility located in San Luis, AZ. Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $36.00-$50.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, licensure, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
• Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations
• Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies
