The role you’ll contribute:
Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standards, practices, policies and procedures. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the policies, procedures, regulations of nursing programs and an effective supervisory technique(s).

- Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
- Serves as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility at large, and as an advisor to other discipline.
- Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion
- Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care activities.
- Participates in clinical conferences, workshops, seminars, and related forums.
- Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- CPR Certified
- Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Preferred qualifications:
- One to two years of professional nursing experience; physician office preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
