Job Responsibilities
Support all Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, and Code Grey events in the Medical Center.
Support emergent nursing care needs in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Interventional Radiology Suite.
Support critically ill patients during transport from the Emergency Department to the ICU and the Diagnostic Imaging area (CT/MRI).
Facilitate urgent stroke and STEMI management.
Take action on a wide range of complex patient care issues that require high-level critical thinking and analysis.
Serve in a roving role, addressing emerging patient situations as they arise.
Cover off hour procedures in departments such as IR and Endo.
Certifications And Licensures
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
ACLS Certification
PALS Certification
Education
Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience
5 years of RN experience in the ER is preferred.
5 years of RN experience in the ICU is preferred.
