We are seeking a bright, energetic, and motivated RN/NP/PA with a strong interest in Cosmetic Dermatology and Skincare to become a part of our dynamic team at one of the most prestigious Dermatology practices in the country. Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Assist physicians with patient care and procedures as assigned but not limited to the following:
- Perform phlebotomy
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms
- Set-up, clean, sterilize, and take inventory of all medical equipment and instruments including procedure trays as outlined
- Ensure completion of their patient’s forms and requisitions
- Accurately document consultations and procedures in Electronic Health Records: ensure all related patient history, exam findings, treatment details (laser settings, doses, etc), outlined skin care, and future treatment plans are meticulously and adequately documented
- Organize patient flow according to protocol
- Follow-up with all patients after procedures performed
- Proactively assist with educational and social media efforts performed by the practice
- Train and learn to perform specific procedures under physician supervision including: laser hair removal, fraxel clear and brilliant, intense pulsed light (IPL), coolsculpting, velashape cellulite treatment, thermage radiofrequency skin tightening, ulthera ultrasound skin tightening, emsculpt, miradry, and microdermabrasion
- Take and relay detailed telephone messages; provide timely and appropriate feedback and answers to patient calls
- Perform medical intake, consultation, and assessment with supervision
- Help the team clean and restock examination and treatment rooms daily (close of business)
- Appropriately prep patients for laser and other cosmetic treatments, actively assist physicians during downtime
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Clean and straighten exam rooms between patients
- Answer patient questions about procedures and skincare products
Qualifications

- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Provide consent for (and pass) a criminal background check
- Ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, strong customer service, and phone etiquette skills required
- Strong computer skills
Job Type:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Experience:
- EMR/EHR Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations (Required)
- Dermatology: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelors required
License/Certification:
- Registered Nurse OR Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant
