Registered Nurse (Rn Triage & Support)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our OB/GYN practice in Mullica Hill, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
• Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
• Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
• Coordination of patient care and an important participant in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a current NJ Registered Nurse certification and CPR certification
• Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
• Registered Nurse, with a degree from an accredited nursing program,
