The Sentara Norfolk General Mother-Baby Unit is a 21-bed unit. Our Nurses assess, ensure that proper healing is occurring, and provides self-care education to our new Moms during the post-partum stay. The unit encourage the new Mom to have rooming with their new baby. The Mom-Baby Nurse sees that the newborn is assessed, cleaned, feed, swaddled, and educates the new Mom on proper infant care.

Shift: Nights, 36 hours a week. RN will work every 3rd weekend.
