Puget Sound Kidney Centers is proud to serve people with chronic kidney disease throughout the northern counties of Washington state. PSKC is growing! Be a part of the team launching our newest clinic in Shoreline! Located in the Richmond Beach neighborhood, this beautiful, brand-new out-patient clinic features an open floor plan with lots of natural light and foliage. It will contain a state of the art RO system, brand new BBraun dialysis machines, and 22 treatment stations, along with an integrated Home Therapies unit.
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team of medical professionals to oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients at Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC). The RN is responsible for providing education to patients, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, monitoring the patient’s outcomes, administer medications, participating in quality improvement projects, and collaborating with other members of the patient’s care team (social worker, dietitians, and nephrologist).

Education and Experience
- Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing.
- Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card.
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Previous Hemodialysis or Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred.
- Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
Compensation
Hourly pay range for this position is $32.31 - $54.11 per hour. Wage offers are determined based on multiple factors including previous experience in the same or similar role

Location/Hours: Initial Dialysis RN training will take place in Everett or Mountlake Terrace up until the opening of the clinic in Richmond Beach. Once open, p rimary work location will be at PSKCs clinic in Richmond Beach. A secondary work location will be assigned for backup coverage based on patient and staffing needs. Applicants need to be able to work any 3 or 4 days per week (Monday through Saturday) for a 10 to 13 hour shift. Opening shifts start as early as 4:00 AM and closing shifts end as late as11:00 PM.

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, patients, nephrologist, and visitors as needed.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Apply the principles of adult learning techniques when educating patients and caregivers including accommodating different learning styles.
- Maintain quality control standards.
