Job Description

Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing team as a RN in the Float Pool to work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others!

Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units, clinics, and specialty centers.

Med/Surg RN’s will care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology,

cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.

Progressive RN’s will care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical.

ICU RN’s will care for patients in all of the above areas and patients needing critical care in one of our 4 ICU units: SICU, MICU, CCU and Burn ICU.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family members and co-workers
  • CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
  • Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing. BSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 5 years of hire.
