Registered Nurse | Home Care | $2,500 Bonus

Responsibilities

• Must work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month (Additional Compensation)
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Administer assigned nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records within established time parameters
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Diagnose, establish, and implement patient care plans
• Instructs patients and caregivers according to the plan of care

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

• Travel stipend
• $2,500 sign on bonus awarded after 90 days
• Anything after 32 points will be paid at a per diem rate
• $80,000 - $87,500 (Base salary for 32 points per week) *opportunities to earn more*

• 6 holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day). Staff will be compensated at time and a half for assigned work on holidays

Requirements

• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of PA.
• Possesses a minimum of (1) year of clinical experience within a hospital, rehab, home care, or long-term care setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competent in the provision of nursing care
• Able to utilize the telephone for internal and external communications
• Knowledgeable of nursing assessment skills
