Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Dialysis Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, evaluating their physical and emotional wellbeing.

2. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.

3. Monitor patients' vital signs, fluid balance, and laboratory results, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

4. Document patient information accurately, including medical history, treatment progress, and any adverse reactions.

5. Educate patients and their families regarding dialysis treatment, self-care measures, and dietary restrictions.

6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for patients, addressing their unique needs.

7. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout treatment.

8. Maintain dialysis equipment and supplies, ensuring their proper functioning and cleanliness.

9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, preventing the spread of infections and promoting a sterile environment.

10. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dialysis technology and nursing practices, attending professional development opportunities.

11. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and promoting a positive healthcare experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

2. Completion of a recognized nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).

3. Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a dialysis or critical care setting.

4. Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.

5. Proficient in administering dialysis treatment and operating related equipment.

6. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate patient needs and plan appropriate care.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

8. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

9. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.

10. Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and perform nursing duties.

11. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a passion for providing high-quality care to patients.
