High Risk OB Sonographer | Kansas City/Overland Park | Full-time/Part-time/PRN

We’re looking for an experienced, credentialed High Risk OB Sonographer to provide diagnostic services to our MFM physician partners. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
Please note that duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks as needed. This can include tasks related to new projects, changes in company structure or department needs, or other unforeseen circumstances that may arise.
IS THIS YOU?
  • 2+ years of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
  • Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Currently certified with ARDMS
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
  • Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
  • Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone through Fetal Medicine Foundation (NTQR) and Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR)
