Our client is seeking a VP of Regional Sales to grow their North American business and join their fast-growing team. This Individual Contributor role is responsible for acquiring profitable ISV customers and building and nurturing loyal long-lasting relationships with each of our high-value customers.


After you achieve success in this role there will be a longer-term opportunity to go from individual contributor to a larger sales leadership role within the organization.


Job Duties Include:

  • Skillfully execute the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal.
  • Consultative selling and intensely listening to your customers.
  • Driving sales revenue with agreed profitability, exceeding targets by preparing comprehensive account and territory plans.
  • Utilising strategic client hunting practices, industry/market analysis and constant in-depth client/prospect analysis to uncover revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate across all internal teams and resources to ensure you put forward the best deal in front of your clients.
  • Identify and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Deploy advanced sales methodologies and tools to achieve and exceed your targets.
  • Clearly articulating our client’s value proposition for masterful client presentations and running effective meetings.


Qualifications:


  • Expert knowledge of the buying process with a demonstrative ability to negotiate commercial agreements and achieve mutual success with your clients.
  • Solid understanding of the Private Equity (PE) markets and how to build strong relationships with Private Equity Firms and work with their portfolio companies to build custom product engineering solutions.
  • You must have a track record of at least six years in selling IT and Product Engineering solutions to Independent Software Vendors (ISV), SaaS and software companies in the North American market (USA and Canada) in a Global Delivery Model that includes the United States and India.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment while working unsupervised within a team environment.
  • 9-12+ years of demonstrated IT solutions sales experience preferably in digital transformation, product engineering and software development where you were in your last few positions for a minimum of 2+ years and you over-achieved on your quota and revenue targets during your previous positions.
  • Strong understanding of software product engineering services nuances and the ISV, SaaS and software ecosystem.
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a creative, can-do attitude when deciding both the territory and deal strategy.
  • Ability to understand the personal and business challenges of customers in order to craft an effective value proposition.
