Job Description

Position Summary:

We’re looking for someone who wants to be a full “owner” of their territory, growing market share with our partners in every segment of our ever-growing portfolio.This role is focused on the growth of the Yield product line in the assigned region and the creation of long-standing relationships within our market. We have multiple cities/regions with a role open:


  • Upper Peninsula
  • Jackson/Coldwater
  • Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti
  • Metro Grand Rapids
  • Metro Detroit
  • Tri Cities


Essential Functions:

·Build & execute Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Plans to achieve market goals

·Develop and execute a business plan to grow the assigned market

·Physically visit assigned retail accounts and utilize Yield portfolio to increase distribution and manage shelf space

·Develop and maintain relationships with key retailers, buyers and budtenders

·Negotiate the terms of agreements and close sales

·Effectively collect accounts receivable within our partners policies

·Represent Yield at industry events, pop ups & trade shows

·Manage Point of Sale (POS) & execute marketing strategy throughout the region

·Sell in and conduct training/education programs with retailers, budtenders and consumers on the Yield portfolio

·Monitor online dispensary menus for accurate pricing, product imagery and promotions

·Execute quarterly sales and performance metrics

·Attend weekly & monthly sales meetings to discuss issues, challenges, opportunities, and share best practices

·Communicate market trends and relevant data to team

·Have strong sales, communication and presentation skills

·Be energetic, organized and a motivated problem solver who can create meaningful relationships, execute and win

·Strategically use Salesforce, Pistil Data/BDSA/Headset to guide in-market decision making & strategy

·Adhere to all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising, and promotion of cannabis products

·Live in or are willing to move to the region

·Have a deep knowledge & passion for cannabis

·All other tasks as assigned


Qualification Requirements: To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

·Be the ultimate team player – we can’t build this alone!

·Enjoy extensive car travel

·2+ years in CPG sales experience preferred but not required

·Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and a reliable car

·Working smart phone with data plan to access apps necessary to complete daily tasks

·Superior organization skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

·Computer proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook required

·Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights & weekends

·Comfortable with change and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

·Ability to lift and maneuver more than 30 pounds
