Job Description

LANDURAis a growing property management organization dedicated to the quality affordable housing to benefit those who need it most. We are an employee-owned, passion-driven group that changes each community of which we are a part. We manage over 5,000 housing units in 7 states, proudly serving seniors, veterans, and other economically challenged groups.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

We are searching for a Regional Manager to join our Property Management team. This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the overall operations of their apartment communities, within an assigned geographical area. The right person will provide exceptional leadership, direction, and support to their team. You will also need to be well versed in sales, marketing, and analytical reporting; as a goal is to produce the maximum cash flow and improve the property's long-term value. This position will consist of 60-75% travel throughout the region. The Regional Manager is organized, analytical, goal-oriented, and a self-starter.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple communities.
  • 5+ years experience working in affordable housing programs including one of more of the following: LIHTC, USDA Rural Development, Section 8, HOME required.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Position requires travel - must possess valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong leadership skills.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the selection process of residents.
  • Manage advertising and marketing plans for the Communities in their portfolio.
  • Ensure the Communities in their portfolio have the highest and greatest curb appeal.
  • Help with annual operating budgets.
  • Direct supervision of the Community Managers within the portfolio.
  • Ensure each resident file is in compliance with all regulatory commitments and any other governmental commitments.
  • Ensure all residents adhere to the terms of the lease and rules/regulations.
  • Staff any open positions in their portfolio with qualified employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all personnel respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular community inspections.
  • Ensure all actions on site are conducted within the company policy and procedures.
  • Review all expenditures and ensue all Communities within their portfolio operate within budget.
  • All management functions for employees reporting to them, including timecard approval, PTO approval, attendance monitoring, reviews, etc.
  • Some overnight travel is required.
  • Oversee all aspects of the operations of the Communities assigned.
  • Evaluate cost efficiency of maintenance operations.
