Regional Planner Jobs

The East Tennessee Development District is seeking applicants for the position of Regional Planner. Primary responsibilities will include providing technical assistance to planning commissions, review of development proposals, preparation of comprehensive plans, preparation of zoning ordinances and land use regulations, and other related duties. Position requires familiarity with common computer programs, community development, strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work in a self-directed environment and to work effectively with local officials.
