Job Summary

Materials Planner located near Pleasant View, TN for a leading manufacturer of consumer goods. Responsible to coordinate with Suppliers to ensure on time delivery and no disruptions to production. To be considered - must have at least three (3) years experience in materials planning/supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years' of Supply Chain/Material Planning experience within a manufacturing organization
• Knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet software

Preferred

• Experience in transportation, receiving, and/or warehousing
• Experience in AS400
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic cycle counts on critical parts.
• Manage inventory policy adherence with designated supply base.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and no disruptions to production.
• Works directly with suppliers including supplier delivery reliability, responding to quality and scrap issues, and response to expediting issues
• Monitor long lead time supply base to ensure no gaps in production coverage based on stated lead times.
• Assist in any AP issues that may occur due to price changes, missed receipts, or shipping discrepancies.
