The primary function of the Regional Clinical Training Specialist is to provide hands-on and/or remote post-sale product training on digital intraoral and extra oral imaging products to customers in a clinical setting. Additional training opportunities will include 3D radiographic imaging devices (CBCT), imaging software, and related technology. The Regional Clinical Education Specialist will also serve as source for training escalations within the territory. This includes working with other 1099 contract trainers, ensuring they are properly trained and complying with their contractual agreement. This position will also partner with both internal and external teams in assisting the customer regarding their clinical needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBiLITIES
  • Conduct end-user training on supported intra and extra oral imaging products
  • Frequently interacts with customer and key experts
  • Strong interpersonal face-to-face, phone, and email skills and a strong customer focus
  • Initial point of escalation and investigation in relation to clinical training within their territory
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
  • This position may at times require working non-standard hours and could include travel that occurs on weekends when necessary
  • Attend tradeshow and educational events in their territory for clinical representation and assistance
  • Contributes to the development of training curriculum in collaboration with Clinical Program Managers
  • Provides support to the Clinical Program Managers and Product Management in testing and implementing new products in their territory
  • Reports to Senior Clinical Program Manger
  • Responsible for review and follow-up on completed surveys within their territory, to ensure clinical training meets stakeholder needs
  • Manage priorities and timelines well and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Frequently interacts with all functional departments
  • Provides educational support, training and certification to 1099 contract instructors in their territory
  • Obtain certification on supported products and recertification as necessary
  • Reporting and maintaining documentation on completed trainings
  • Travel up to 75% as dictated by business needs

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Proven ability to work remotely and independently in a field environment. Developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize, plan and execute are key success factors in this position. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements
  • 3+ years hands-on clinical dental experience
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% within region/geography
  • Associates degree or equivalent certifications and/or licenses
  • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record as the position entails extensive use of personal car while on company business
  • This position will require working non-standard hours and include travel that occurs on weekends when necessary
  • Proven experience utilizing dental imaging equipment with an active X-ray certification in Dentistry
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of training experience within a clinical setting
  • Advanced knowledge of radiology a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics

Target Market Salary Range
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
