Regional Class A Truck Driver

We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Houma LA

You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like.

$1500 or more per week - And it gets better

• Paid Training
• Solo Miles Pay: $00.55 per Mile with 1250 Miles per Week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Per Diem Pay: $50 per night with 2 - 4 nights per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $37.50 per Stop with 13 Stops per Week
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• 1 year of Flatbed Experience is Required
• Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, and TWIC Card - Must Obtain Within 90 Days of Hire
• Freight: Load Securement Only – Strapping, Chaining, and Binders
• Deliver SOLO To the Gulf Coast, LA, TX, OK, MS and AL
• Route: 2 - 4 Nights out Every Week
• Tractor Type: Newer Tandem Sleeper
• Trailer Type: Flatbed
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements

• Pass a Ryder road test
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
