Reference Laboratory Technologist Jobs

Responsibilities:
Perform routine through complex red cell antibody identification and resolution, antigen typing, hemoglobin S testing and procurement of special and rare units, platelet antibody screening and cross-matching.
Provide written reports and verbal consultation and transfusion recommendations to our hospitals.
Responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance, training, equipment, and assay evaluation and validation.
Required to have the ability to multi-task, work independently and operate office and telecommunication equipment.
Hours:
Full-time: Monday- Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm with weekend/ holiday on-call
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science. (Associate's Degree with Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification is acceptable with applicable experience)
MLS, BB or SBB certification preferred
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking

PAY and BONUSES:

New Hire Bonuses: You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.
