- Responsible for keeping up to date on all hiring laws and regulations and ensuring all managers are trained and current on same. And duties as assigned by HR Director related to employee orientation, training and retention.
- Responsible for implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates.
- Schedule, assist with, and/or conduct interviews. Oversee interview preparation to ensure compliance.
- Screen applicants, selected qualified candidates, and conduct initial interview providing the candidate information about the position, the company, policies, and benefits.
- Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring affirmative action and equal employment opportunity plans.
- Prepare hiring packets and notices for new employees.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity plans.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and post job advertisements.
- Assist in leading new-employee orientation.
- Assist in developing the recruitment process and policies. Lead in facilitating and implementing all phases.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as well as company policies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify, draft and update detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Execute all aspects of the formal employment offer including, but not limited to: drafting offer letter; conducting background checks, reference check, education verifications; online assessments; pre-employment drug testing; Motor Vehicle Reporting; and collection of Company required documents as condition of employment.
- Stay abreast of recruitment and talent acquisition best practices and tools.
- Collaborate with hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identify and recommend salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Build a pipeline of outside employee candidates to achieve short and long term workforce projections.
- Monitor and review salary benchmark data to ensure compensation is competitive in industry/region.
- Draft and post all job openings on applicant tracking portal, company website, and social media sites.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods, sourcing, and strategies based on open positions, industry standards, and needs of the company. This includes, but is not limited to resume databases, internet-based recruitment sources, professional networks, colleges, marketing, social media, and job fairs.
- Travel required up to 5% of time. Ability to drive a vehicle.

- Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment in multiple states.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
