Job Description
Basic Job Function: Primary function is to assist with all of the activities around the staffing and employment process and to follow policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for interviewing and referring candidates for positions throughout the Company and providing administrative support for the employment department.Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentCollege degree or technical school coursework preferredMinimum of two (2) years of job related experience in human resources that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilitiesExperience in staffing and recruiting preferredExcellent communication skills; both written and verbalDemonstrated experience in work flow management or project managementDemonstrated experience in complying with company policy, and applicable laws and regulationsComprehensive computer skills in all Microsoft Office programsMust be detail orientated and able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlinesConsistently aspires to fulfill our core Company values (Respect, Integrity, Passion, Teamwork, Accountability, Caring, Loyalty & Trust)Exhibits the Sea Island Five-Star Behavior Standards with guests, members and co-workersMust possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectivelyAbility to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changesIf applicable, must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysReport to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with company Dress Code Policy Tasks/Responsibilities: Utilizes the web-based applicant tracking system to screen applications and identify candidates for phone interviews and/or in-person interviews.Establishes a strong working relationship with department managers to ensure staffing expectations are met.Strategically addresses all current and future recruiting needs for assigned departments.Schedules interviews with candidates and hiring managers.Communicates offer details and pre-employment process to candidatesCompletes appropriate documentation to ensure employee files are fully complete and in compliance with Company policy as well as any and all legal requirementsAssists with onboarding of newly hired team membersProvides administrative support as it relates to new hires, transfers, promotions, and adjustmentsSupports the employment team with administrative assistance as needed for events and projectsWorks independently on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projectsMaintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one’s abilityIf applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support)Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areasUphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timingUphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and proceduresReport all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediatelyAttends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvementWilling and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership Physical Requirements: Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periodsAbility to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 30 lbsAbility to communicate effectively in English both written and verbalAbility to type and/or enter data on a keyboard at least 35 wpm Maintain compliance with Company Resort Professional Image Policy
