We're currently looking for a Receiving Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the receiving process, making sure the team works with efficiency, and that departmental goals are regularly met.

You'll report to the Operations Manager and work from our Jersey City, New Jersey office.

What You'll Do:

• Develop production goals and ensure that goals are met
• Maintain accurate records of production
• Monitor staff productivity and assign tasks as needed
• Act as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for team members
• Develop staff skills and create a rewarding and fulfilling work environment
• Ensure proper procedures are followed and devise techniques to improve team efficiency
• Implement improvements to keep error percentage to a minimum
• Interact with our third-party partners when necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment and serve as the first point of contact for incidents, injuries, and/or safety concerns.
• Create effective solutions for issues that arise within the department
• Manage the staffing and training of the receiving department
• Create and maintain departmental structure, morale and a sense of team

Who You Are:

• 1-2 years of experience leading a team in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment with little room for error
• Data-driven problem solver with an understanding of general business implications of decisions
• Strong project management and planning/organizational skills and the ability to develop and execute realistic action plans
• 2-3 years of Receiving experience
• Dependable and personable team player who works well with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication, including an ability to understand and relay company policies/procedures

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $57,920 - $94,035. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
