Job Description
Job Title: Receiving Inspector


Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80921


Duration: 06 Months


Shift - 4/10-1st Shift



  • Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and, in some cases, may determine methods and sequences.
  • Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
  • Maintains records of results.
  • Will perform receiving Inspections.
  • May improvise or adapt inspection and measuring devices as needed.
  • Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
  • Inspects for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.


Required Experience


  • Knowledgeable of Industry Standard i.e.., IPC-J-610, ANSI-J-STD 001
  • Basic Computer skills
  • 3-4 years' experience in the inspection and accepts of parts ranging from simple to complex manufacture to print drawings.
  • Familiar with Military Specification
