Job Summary

The receiving department processes materials to produce furniture. This position requires good math skills and the ability to count and process numbers. This position is responsible for getting all materials processed and delivered to the correct locations.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks
• Inform management if problems arise
• Scan materials with a scan gun
• Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
• Supply materials to other departments/team members
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks
• Other duties to be performed as directed by supervisor(s)
• Create and maintain inventory/material data
• Support other departments as necessary
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• Load/unload materials

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to bend and lift parts throughout shift
• High school diploma preferred but not required, and previous fast paced manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift (8 – 10 hours per day)
• Must have good hand-eye coordination
• Must be able to operator a forklift or similar equipment
• Must perform job with safety as top priority
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment
• Ability to show up to work on-time, every day, and take direction from supervisor(s) in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively on a daily basis
