Job Description

Iris's direct client, a leader in financial services looking to hire a strong React.js Developer for a Long-Term Contractual role


Job title: React.js Developer

Location: Hybrid (Holmdel, NJ OR Bethlehem, PA)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Skills: React.js, Redux, JavaScript, UI

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with service-oriented and cloud native software architectures
  • Familiarity with API architectures including microservice strategy.
  • Proven ability to take leadership role in projects that span multiple teams, ability to deliver on time working in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Experience with source control and development workflows: Bitbucket, Git
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with modern web application development, including build tools, testing and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with secure programming practices, software delivery and cloud security principles
  • Experience with cloud technology including AWS, Docker, ECS/ EKS
  • Experience with a broad range of technologies including React JS, Node.JS, React Hook, OOPS, oAuth

Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex solutions in an Agile environment as part of a global team of engineers, designers, and product experts.
  • Assist on-shore and off-shore teams with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge. Mentor and develop new or less experienced team members.
  • Liaise between software engineering teams and production support to facilitate operational readiness. Provide level 3 support for escalated issues/defects.
  • Conduct and lead technical design discussions across multiple technology disciplines to propose viable solutions to complex problems.
  • Gather and analyse data and develop requirements at project level.
