Rbt Registered Behavior Technicians

Hawaii Behavioral Health is a rapidly growing provider of mental and behavioral health services to children and adults with special needs. We are excited to share that we are seeking individuals who enjoy working with children and have an interest in special education, psychology, child development, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality service to children with autism spectrum disorder, helping them reach their full potential through ABA (applied behavior analysis) services.

Job Type:Part-time/Full-time (up to 35 hours per week)

Location:Our company offers a range of services across various Hawaiian islands, including Kauai, Maui, the Big Island, and Oahu.

Pay:Up to \$35/hour depending on experience and education

Responsibilities

• Implementation of treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, and social skill needs
• Monitor the progress of clients and work closely with the BCBA to update treatment plans as necessary
• After-school, weekend, in-home, and daytime hours are available
• School hours are also available
• The ABA technician/RBT position is a part-time, hourly position, working in a clients home, in the community or school setting

Requirements

• High School Diploma minimum, Associates or Bachelor\'s degrees preferred
• Ability to drive to a variety of locations on the island
• Experience working with individuals with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, and/or severe problem behavior preferred
• Valid RBT certification (Hawaii Behavioral Health offers a paid certification program)
• Associate Degree (or 48 college credits) required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, run repeatedly, and for extended periods
