Ramp Safety Clerk Jobs

Role Purpose Statement

Administrative position with responsibility for monitoring Ramp and Employee Standard Operating Procedures and working with department managers to ensure compliance. Manage employee safety issues involving but not limited to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and applicable state agencies.

Main Accountabilities

• Accident Investigations
• Employee Training/recurring training (Alchemy)
• Maintain required accident/injury documents/files.
• Daily safety tour of duty
• Report work related injuries to Gallagher Bassett (All - recordable or not)
• Other assignments as needed
• Daily Walkthroughs
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis
• Safety Orientation-New Hires
• Building Safety Audit (monthly)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years safety/ramp experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed – weekend/holidays
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and be detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass 10 years background check and obtain an airport badge
